After watching those for so long I decided to watch a full play through from him because I wanted more perspective on DSP. I think I watched him play RE4 (well maybe not watched so much as had the audio going in the background a lot of the time). It was pretty painful and not even because he's not that good at the game but rather he's just not very entertaining to watch (or listen to) outside of his failures and blaming controls.

As an aside, and this kind of amazes me, but I think DSP is actually.... funner (a very loose term right now) to watch than Spoony streams. Which just really put the modern Spoony into perspective for me.
I never knew there was so much history to DSP. I just got a kick out of the This Is How You Don't Play videos for Soulsborne games.
There were a couple errors in this video if I'm recalling my DSP history correctly.
1. It wasn't that he set those claimed videos as private that removed his views it was that he DELETED them. Setting a video to private does not remove its views iirc.
2. He lives in a house, not a condo. He USED to live in a condo before he moved to Seattle.
Otherwise this a a pretty good summary of DSP.

DSP also makes more money than Spoony on Patreon. Of course, Spoony makes around $700 without fucking doing anything and DSP actually MAKES shit and only just manages to break around $1000 so make of that what you will.

Man, the reason the guy who started the "How you don't play..." series was banned was... weird. It's crap that he got banned, but that's a fucking weird thing to say.
Phil live streaming was a mistake. Him playing games is a lot more boring because twitch chat holds his hand for everything.
With him doing videos on the camcorder, it was a case of "Alright, he's crude and a bit of a tit but people can be bad at games and that can be interesting to watch" and that works for some people and not others. But now its just "He's a bit of a nob". with his live streaming.
It does sour me that he still makes money on this despite all these fuck ups.

His only way to survive is to keep begging for donations. Since his move out, he's also quite in debt as well. He has no girlfriend, no friends and his family lives very far away.

dsp never really gave a shit about chip iirc but really went in on slowbeef who's the primary host of retsupurae. the vid was on chip's channel for the longest time but it's gone now so you only got that reupload
pretty sure to this day dsp blames slowbeef for destroying his channel, chip still makes good lps and works at volition and ironicus is there for most of the lps and also has a life. basically everyone involved has gone on w/their life but dsp which is really unsuprising tbh

Worst case scenario, He will move back to his parents. I really doubt that he is planning to do that anytime soon.
I can't believe I just watched basically a documentary about DSP. That said the guy is a huge asshole but I can't help but feel sorry for him.
