Cry of Fear: My first ever Let's Play - General

[editline]24th February 2012[/editline] Also, I want to say that it was a pain to upload. It took about an hour for me to stitch parts of the video together and reduce the size and what not. And then it took an hour and a half to upload and when it was done uploading, I went to watch the video and it told me they deleted it instantly because it was too long. So then I had to upgrade my account and re-upload the video which took forever. So I at least hope you enjoyed it somewhat. I also apologize for that beginning part there where I said I probably won't talk a lot. I didn't really think I would speak that much, but I guess that's not a bad thing?

Did you save during that playthrough (I skipped around a bit)? If not you have to start all over...

I asked about it in the Cry of Fear thread and I was told there were Recorders you have to use to save, and all I had to do was go through that door. Jesus what's with the random surge of new let's plays. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I just made my completed editing my first one earlier today, but I log on to see like three others on the first page :tinfoil:

Seemed a lot more genuine than most let's plays. I liked it.

I just recorded the second part, but Fraps was starting to act really weird near the end of the video. So it might seem like it's "jumping" at parts because I would turn off Fraps and stand still, then turn it back on. I'm going to have to move what I record onto my external hard drive. I think it was because I was starting to run out of room on my computer :v: I'll have part 2 up in a couple hours. [editline]25th February 2012[/editline] Part 2 is uploading! It's going to be about an hour and a half though... I have also noticed that the videos are darker than what's in the game. If this really becomes a problem for you guys then I'll try bumping up the brightness when I'm putting the videos together.

All I do is turn on Fraps, play the game, and then stitch the videos together that Fraps makes and resize it. After that I just upload it to youtube. So yeah, minimal editing is done.

Just recorded part 3. I resized the video to 50% (it used to be 40%) and we'll see how that fairs with youtube. It'll have it uploaded in like 2-4 hours.
