Zone of The Enders is cool.
I absolutely loved this game to bits, still do! Hate the fact that I can't play it due to no PS2 or anything. When the fuck is Zone Of The Enders 3 coming out, I want it.
Colony damage increasing due to battle.
HERE WE GO, LET'S FINISH THIS!
Huh. The first game's really just an hour or so long, or were you playing for a while longer before this was posted?
It's an hour long without the dumb SOS missions and if you kinda know where things are so you don't backtrack a million times.

Started only about a few minutes before I posted here. It's a really short game, can be easily beat in one sitting if you know it well enough. Sequel is up next guys, much longer game.
much better game aswell, still both fucking awesome though.
ZOE2 starting right now guys!
Registered just to say you should all totally join the stream so I can time you out. Forever.
If there's two things that annoys me about ZoE2's opening, it's; A.) It keeps going on, and on. You think it ends, playing out the entire song to its 3 minute length, then it takes another minute to show tidbits from an endgame scene, and then another minute for random messages and a Gradius joke. B.) Those who pay attention will realize that it kinda spoils the entire plot (not that it's all that complicated to begin with) and several major scenes / fights, but doesn't give the context behind them.

The biggest problem I always had about games like this and the Gundam series was how mind numbingly overpowered these robots were. Jehuty is just an unstoppable killing machine, extremely fast, extremely powerful and it just destroys thousands and thousands of enemy frames and the special 'boss' ones with relative ease. Same in Gundam and I just hate how these things have literally no faults.

When Jehuty absorbs energy from Anubis for the final battles of the game to become Naked Jehuty, it's literally able to destroy everything that's not Anubis in one hit.[/sp] Gundam is.. An interesting case, in that in the original MS Gundam, the titular mecha was pretty much dominant at first due to its then-advanced design and endurant armor. Then the Gundam series kinda had technology advance, and by the time of later stuff in the same timeline as the original, even Gundams can easily be blown to bits if they take direct damage; the 'no faults' stuff usually comes from whether the pilot's good or bad.
