He has a point, but I feel like his claims are exaggerated. There's no way the justice department has the resources to sue that many users. Look at the Hurt Locker case for example. They tried to sue 25,000 people, nearly all of them were dismissed.

I think they'd pick out the more extreme cases, like people who have downloaded hundreds of movies and music, not just someone who downloaded one song.

Honestly who used mega upload for daily torrenting? I also doubt mega upload recorded every downloader's ip for fun. Even if they did, ip address' can easily be changed.
