Hey guys! I'm sure most of you know the movie Sucker Punch by Zack Snyder. Well however, I needed to do something, so I decided to make this little music video of the movie. Hope you like and enjoy it, and feel free to leave some feedback. I know I'm not really the pro when it comes to creating videos, but I'm pretty much satisfied with this one. The name of the song is How To Be Eaten By A Woman by The Glitch Mob.
0:45 sounded promising but then it stopped at 1:05, it comes back a couple times but a lot of it was meh.. edit, i thought the video was about the song and not the movie but oh well, i think the movie sucked terribly as well.
Oh boy, how that movie sucked
that movie was just "lets try to be deep by making the skirts shorter as the film goes on"
Gotta admit guys. The blonde girl is hot as fuck.
That movie was one of the worst things I've ever had to sit through. It sucks because the director HAS talent, he just picks movies with shitty scripts. I didn't like "Sucker Punch" or "300", but I loved his remake of "Dawn of the Dead".
He can direct well but he can't write for shit at all. Pretty sure Sucker Punch sucked because he wrote it.
My sister liked sucker punch, I called her crazy.
This tickles my vore fetish
It was a pretty entertaining movie. Not a master piece but very enjoyable.
That sounded nothing like brostep or dubstep, why is it that ever since dubstep become popular that people can't tell the difference between electronic music genres?
I enjoyed it because I took it for what it was - Strippers fighting steampunk nazi zombies with mechs and biplanes. That's not something I'd expect to be well written in the first place.
[...] Strippers fighting steampunk nazi zombies...
NOT Nazi zombies.
One thing I had to give this movie was its lack of fear in giving the movie an unconventional ending. That sorta' risk takes guts. That said, what's worse? Giving a fun, if conventional third act in which the girls continue the "girl-power" theme and karate-fight their way out of the place? ...Or having the film go off its meds and pull a complete thematic 180, kill off half the cast in under three minutes and shatter whatever feeling of empowerment had previously existed, before ending what was promised to be a rollicking CGI splatter-fest on a downbeat "fuck-you" of an ending? I hated this goddamn movie. You do NOT sucker people in to watch hot girls fight giant robots with machine guns and miniskirts, only to poor a bucket of icewater over their heads and leave your audience in awkward silence on the walk out of the theater in the name of some kind of bullshit pretentious art-student ending rife with similarly bullshit symbolism. It's called a bait and switch, asshole!
I find Sucker Punch to be a bit of a guilty pleasure. Yeah, it's terrible, and it felt like a lot of wasted potential, but I can't help but love the fact that it's got giant samurai demons and killer robots and dragons and undead steampunk nazis and guns and swords and girls kicking ass all in one very pretty looking package.
Guys, I respect your arguments, but it weren't NAZIS!
imperial germans imo it's more like a game than a movie with it's varied settings, spectacle, gunplay, etc.
I haven't watched the movie yet, but I get the general gist of what happens. That said, what could they have done to make the movie better without changing the theme they were going for? Was there something wrong with the execution of the "sucker punch" or is it that the idea is inherently flawed?

EDIT: And on a more personal note, I hate that Sweet Pea's didn't get more swordfighting scenes. She's the one with the huge freaking sword, why the hell doesn't she get to use it more often? I mean, her singular swordfighting scene was cut out of the original theatrical version. And when I finally saw said deleted scene, it felt rather underwhelming.
Yea. It's like a game thats fine how it is until the nexus community comes and mods with it tacticool weapons and japanese school girl outfits n shit. Then you add a lot of shitty covers of well known songs

Like, a salad made of tree bark, onions, plums, topped with marshmallows and maple syrup.
I was expecting the ending in the beginning of the movie, talk about cliché.
I was expecting the ending in the beginning of the movie, talk about cliché.
You expected that one guy from all her imaginations to be the bus driver at the end of the movie??? Wow man ur smart (the movie was fuckin garbage but how could you pick that ending when its so fuckin random and nonsensical and means literally nothing)
Oh really? Damn man, you're a genius!
I'm not patting myself on the shoulder here. I'm critiquing the ending.
I don't get why people complain about Sucker Punch so much. It's just a movie you can't expect a well written story or whatever for...
