They do that regardless if you're playing music or not. It's eerie when you're passing by a field and they all just start walking over to stare at you.

That's why you have to avoid eye contact and cross to the other side of the road whenever possible.
Oh wait, that's something else...
Horses do this as well. Whenever we're walking the dogs the horses always gather around to watch.
My dad and I race tiny RC cars outside every once in awhile, and then the horses actually run along with them.
I guess animals are more curious and interested than we give them credit for.
