Would've posted this in JC thread, but thanks to silly logic that basic thing as search should be gold member exclusive prevents me from finding the thread.
Holy shit.
YES! This makes me so happy!
OH SHI-
YES
How, where, when?
Tell me more.
This should liven up the game a whole bunch now. This is something that I've wanted since day one.
I can't wait, I love Just Cause 2!
Hell fucking yes.
And it doesn't look like some laggy out-of-sync piece of shit connection either
Was this the last thread? It's locked so perhaps someone can make a new thread now or whenever this is out?
with this, the game will be perfect
welp, time to reinstall JC2
Everyone thought that this was dead. Glad to see them alive and kicking.
That's awesome. Now all I need is JC2.
That's fucking awesome
Heh, their google code repository is pretty active as well..I wonder if I could build from it.
Holy sweet fudge, I can't wait to see the finish product.
Holy shit, I remember following these guys like two years back.
This is sooooo awesome!
This is all Just cause 2 needed.
Can't fucking wait until this is released.
i thought the project got a cease and desist note from square enix or something. this is great news
what the fuck i knew i should have bought it when it went on sale last week. Also it baffles me totally how this game didn't have MP from the start, with such a giant map and shit to do.
And it doesn't look like some laggy out-of-sync piece of shit connection either
I did spot a collision sync issue right at the very end, the player being filmed didn't react to the other player ramming him at high speed. Other than that though it looked solid!
From their website
Over two years ago we set out to turn Just Cause 2 into a multiplayer game. During the course of the two months we spent working on JC2-MP, we were met with many obstacles - which at the time felt impossible to conquer. For the last month we've been working in secret to achieve those goals, with great success. Over the coming months, our aim is to polish the current build to a state that can be released to the public. Contrary to popular conspiracies, we were not shut down by Avalanche Studios. Nor did we intentionally delete our source code to inhibit further growth. The source at the time was extremely unstable and volatile. However this time around, we have squashed all obstacles encountered thus far.
Holy crap that's fluid [editline]16th June 2012[/editline]
i thought the project got a cease and desist note from square enix or something. this is great news
I don't understand why any company would do this "Please don't make our game more popular"
I would love to play this if Just Cause 2 wasn't running like shit.
Just Cause 2 is really well optimized. My PC is not the best, but it still looks gorgeous on it
Just Cause 2 is really well optimized. My PC is not the best, but it still looks gorgeous on it
Still, it runs really hot. I had to get an extra fan blowing across the rear exit so I could keep my gpu's under 75c
