Given that he was in a stolen car and in danger of being busted on that fact I wouldn't put it past him to flatten a cabbie.

The driver was a dumbass for taking an SUV they don't own and clearly not knowing how to drive hence they drove into the back of a cabbie who is likely quite hot headed as its a shit job with high pressure.
Both are at fault but the cabbie less.

it was insane to stand infront of a SUV like that but not TOTALLY stupid.
