snip im bad at computer
lmao and make the youtube link proper
He's absolutely right about Sony and how shitty the game industry is when we're celebrating them not being total dickwads like Microsoft. But at this point it's a case of the lesser of two evils.
Take out the "&" bit

My comment above was referring to me refreshing the page a few times while you made changes to the link to try and get it to work.. Meant it as more of a 'I've been there and nobody knows how that shit works' then a 'lern2embed'.

he's right but he's still a huge tool Rusty100: "your opinion is different from mine therefor you must be dumb!!!!!!!!!!!"
You beat me by like 3 minutes posting this. Definitely hope Sony doesn't start pulling some bullshit on us just because they have the market. I mean part of why they have had all these great PS3 deals and so on is to give people more incentive to buy. Once they have a bigger customer base, it's unfortunately kinda easy to start adding some payments there, payments here, restrictions on this, that, etc. To what extremes they take it remains to be seen, but overall their track record could be a whole lot worse, so I'm still positive about it.
I don't understand why people are surprised about paying for online. It's been in game consoles since 1994. Besides they gotta have something to pay off the servers that hold games that are downloaded over the internet. Also I assume in a lot of cases their servers also run game servers which costs money to run. Also Maddox seems like a very pessimistic person.

It's obvious people are already ripping Microsoft apart.

Especially with the push towards digital.
Also Maddox seems like a very pessimistic person.
Well, at least his persona is. But he shits on everything...it's his style. It's really kind of refreshing to hear him be extremely blunt about things that get crazy hype. If you send him an email/write on his FB page about basically anything, and he actually has something to say for it, he will find a way to twist your words to make you sound stupid and make fun of you. It's a kind of humor that isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I've been reading his stuff for years now and personally get a huge kick out of it. On the topic of paying for online though, I don't think it is a necessary charge for companies to keep their servers running. It definitely is much more of just a privilege cost. The PS2, PS3, GameCube, (if I'm not mistaken) Wii, and basically all PC games costed nothing extra to play online.

[editline]13th June 2013[/editline] not to mention PS+ is leagues better than xbox because all the free shit they throw at you for being a member, and they dont shove ugly as fuck adds all over the fucking UI.
I've never seen that sharing clip for the PS4, fuckin' hilarious. Also I agree, paying for Plus sucks for multiplayer access. But there's so much shit included with Plus that I almost don't care.
Gahhh It feels like I'm the only one sometimes that doesn't have the will to pay for PS+. When it was first released, I was REALLY skeptical, but when I did finally get to have a trial, I liked the extras. But, I still didn't see enough benefit for me to buy a membership. I mean Sony has done so well with not requiring you to pay for online, and then they come at us with PS+. Great service, and it's probably how premium online subscriptions should be done, but it still leaves me unhappy. It's like Sony finally decided to push our buttons and see if they could get us to pay for the hell of it.

Gold account for Netflix? That's new to me. Microsoft's just standing on a bridge throwing away all their money into the river below.
Pretty sure Gold is required for Netfix on the 360, as well.
it is either way i really don't care if i have to pay for playstation online. if it's the price of admission i'm willing to bend over and take it because everything else about the ps4 sounds cherry. i mean people bent over and took it because the 360 was better in the beginning.
I've always wanted a better online experience with playstation, and I've always thought it'd be fine to pay a small fee for more features and services. $5 a month is a very small fee. I really don't understand why everyone is making a big deal about it when xbox live gold has always cost money and noone seems to complain about that. Also ftp games like planetside 2 will NOT require PS+ account to play online. So, how is Sony faulted for this? Seems like a legit deal to me.
Dragons Crown is probably really fun, but the artstyle makes me want to gouge my eyes out. The artist is a weird deviantart-esque fetishist and everything looks like the contrast is too fucking high.
I like mario 3d land :c
I like mario 3d land :c
I saw people playing it during the nintendo E3 best buy thingy. It looked really cool. It doesn't really innovate that much in the gameplay department, but it's still quite fun.
i dont get why they don't price their console down, they can keep their even numbers 399 USD 299 EUR 249 PND nearly the same conversions
I saw people playing it during the nintendo E3 best buy thingy. It looked really cool.
It doesn't really innovate that much in the gameplay department, but it's still quite fun.
I feel like that's my reaction to most Nintendo games lately, and I'm afraid that I'm going to keep getting diminishing returns on that. I mean, I can't think of any mind-blowing announcements Nintendo could've made. Mario, Donkey Kong, Smash Bros, etc. are all cool, but pretty expected.

As a person whos not that interested in Nintendo titles, theres nothing to pull you in. They always make stuff from the same franchises and never try to make something new, something that will attract a new audience which will lead them to their other games. Of course not all companies need to cater to a bunch of different tastes but you would expect a giant like Nintendo to have some more variety.
