I also found those hallways infuriating.
"nine levels and one mental stability test" The library still has to be on of the fucking worst levels in video game history. God it's such a boringly frustrating piece of shit. It's really the only thing that brings Halo:CE's score down in my book.
I lost my shit every time he said "finish the fight" and the jingle played.
I was going to remark on the JJ2 music, but I think I've done so in two of his videos already.
Holy shit, this guy's pretty funny. "The console that's 5% percent box and 95% controller"
Humans are at war with the Covenant and we are losing, which is bullshit. They are 8 races and we are 1 so they should be disqualified. Ha.
"Wow. Awesome. Awesome possum."

Always happy to see a new KilianExperience
i love the Killian garbage retrospectives, the warcraft one was similarly great
[sp]434 please fix[/sp]
Kilian's voice is my sexual orientation
wow, those were some good arguments about the ranking systems in halo 2/3 vs reach
Honestly I think that the original trilogy of Halo is up there as one of the best gaming trilogies ever, they are absolutely essential games to experience. If you havent played them already, get some friends together and couch co-op them. You seriously wont regret it, they've held up super well.
Just discovered this youtuber thanks to this thread, I love his videos.

I think without a doubt Halo reach killed the Halo series after that you've either got to ignore it completely or work with it and that's what Halo 4 did they worked with the mess that was Halo reach. Other than the game mechanics from Halo reach, Halo 4 was fun and had an interesting plot.
In the last minute he mentions that Halo 5 has a great map maker while PC does not, don't think he checked the latest (old already..) news?

Halo 3 will always have a special place in my heart. Fuck all the after halo's.
Halo 3 will always have a special place in my heart. I think 3 and Reach are tied for my favorite halo games. Reach had the most fun multiplayer and the most interesting campaign story to me, and featured Firefight. Simultaneously, Halo 3 had the most fun multiplayer and the most replayable 'oh heck yeah' campaign to me.

I'm surprised it still gets posted on here. It's always a circlejerk about how bad the series is now.
i'm one of those weirdos that really liked the library also i believe halo 5 has the best multiplayer of the series
yeah its been a while since I played CE but I always remember enjoying the library (and it scaring the shit out of me as a kid), the level had a very interesting atmosphere and mood to it, cant speak on the gameplay tho
That's weird, I liked 1 and 2 and I always saw people on FP being mad at Microsoft for fucking up the opportunity to make a PC version of 3 multiple times. By the time 3 came out I was too invested in PC gaming and never bothered to buy a 360, so I've actually never played any of the other games.

The custom game and map making community was pretty much entirely absent too. If I had to rate them I'd go 3>2>1>Reach>ODST>5>4 The first three are contentious to rank b/c they're all so good but I think that the online campaign co-op and how good the MP was with ranked and custom games puts H3 at the top. H2 probably has the best competitive multiplayer and better map design for the most part, but H3's online is a lot more fleshed out in the experience as a whole.
