Why not? Maximum debauchery is all that we find funny anymore.
Took me a while to realize the name of the show was Shameless
Is nothing sacred? :smith:
Heh, I can see Fiona's nipples.
What the hell is this
I don't bother watching TV anymore. Nothing amuses me.

I like that show.....
It's a good show. Stop hatin'. People need to stop comparing stuff to it's originals. It's one of the most stupid thing you can do. You ruin stuff for your self AND for others. Stuff gets cancelled and bad reviews JUST because a bunch of people always have to compare stuff to it's originals. Look at Stargate Universe. It had low ratings because people expected a new Stargate show like SG1 and SGA. SGU is something completely different, yet people compare them. If SGA and SG1 never existed and SGU was the first SG show ever or the first SG of any kind, it most likely would have been Syfy's(ugh) most popular show.
You should always look with new eyes on shows and movies. Or else you'll just ruin it.
:burger:
Why are so many UK shows being taken over by US companies? It's happened to skins, and that was horrible, and now it's happening to Shameless. Why can't they just air the originals, seeing as it is the exact same story, scene for scene?

This is hardly the same, though, seeing as the show is exactly the same, just with new actors.
I've watched both and I enjoy them, and I usually hate it when shows from the UK get turned into US shows. This isn't MTV in charge of the whole thing, it's Showtime, which is why it's pretty bearable to watch.

Plus the US version of Skins got cancelled due to the shit ratings, this actually has pretty positive reviews from what I've seen so far.
