I HATE ANTS
I actually paid for the maps on Xbox 360 when I was still playing on the console.
fuck you microsoft
Although I still don't get why people still shit on windows 8 or why people ever did so.
Dunkey is fucking awesome. Second to cr1tikal he's one of my favorite youtubers.
I like how this video is uploaded/released on the same day as the Microsoft event where they announced a bunch of new hardware
I'm not trying to be contrarian, but I STILL have my original, release-day Xbox 360. It runs a bit slow (nearly TEN YEARS LATER, I've had computers newer than that that have broken down). I've never ran into the RRoD, nor did any of my close friends with 360s. I'm not denying the stats (because boy, were they there), but Dunkey presented an extreme case. My best friend went through an extremely similar case, except with Sony and PS2s. It went down year over year from the original release of the PS2 through the release of the second slim model, breaking down a couple months before the year warranty was up.
Some people have shit luck, it's not a reason to shit on the company. [sp]Still a funny video, though.[/sp]
holy crap that Dark Master live commercial.. I remember watching that and the promos for Blink and Buffy before starting up Jet Set Radio. Godamn the nostalgia

because it was awful
because it was awful
8.1 made it less awful
8.1 made it less awful
exactly, 8 was horrible but 8.1 actually made it good
8.1 made it less awful
the point of "fuck this" was reached for me when I noticed that there is no way to change falsely saved WiFi passwords except for registry manipulation on Win 8 because the took away like 80% of the network configuration dialogues to make it "tablet-y".
Or maybe they hid them away. Anyway that's exemplary for the design choices behind that OS and that's why it sucked.

Could you not just forget the connection and reconnect to the network with the right password? Fairly certain that's a thing.
8.1 made it less awful
If 8.1 was less awful then 8 must have been terrible. Got a new laptop with 8.1 and it was so counter intuitive it was practically unusable half the time for me. Thank god for that Win 10 update.
anyhow yeah Microsoft ain't having the best track record.

One in every two consoles failing is not shit luck. One in every two consoles failing after 4 years is a definite reason to shit on the company

Lol bullshit, in case you have seen the video more then 50% (60% perhaps) broke down including mine for like 3 times, most of my friends had issues and lets also not forget the glorious disc-scratching which also like 30% of the 360's had.
Microsoft fucked up because they released the 360 ASAP to release it before the PS3 and on time for the holiday season, pretty sure someone from the Xbox R&D team said that.
Could you not just forget the connection and reconnect to the network with the right password? Fairly certain that's a thing.
Nope. Because it doesn't show the forget option when it has awrong password saved and "failing to connect".

I went through 6 360s before got fed up. I know more people then not who had 360 RROD on them. I guess you just got a god 360.

You can just open the WiFI menu, right click on the network and choose "Forget network", though. At least I can on 8.1.
You can also forget any network via Charms > Settings > Networks > Connections > Manage known networks (I translated these on the fly).
Yeah they could've just left it the way it was in Windows 7, but it isn't impossible (it is stupid though). Why you would access the registry before looking through the Settings app, I don't know, though.
Edit: Or maybe I'm totally misunderstanding you?

Bullshit? What the fuck do you want as proof? Also, if you actually read my post, I wasn't denying the statistics. A lot (read: an unacceptable lot) of them did break down. Guess what? There's two extremes. Dunkey was on one end, my 360 and I are on the other. It happens.
This kind of stuff is what makes me think I should try Linux.
You guys remember the "Game Content Usage Rules" Microsoft shit out almost 10 years ago? The whole reason why that started is because a guy I know created a successful machinima series in Halo 2, and he single-handedly held up the entire legal department of Microsoft so they could come up with some bullshit guidelines to prevent people from making creative content with their licensed games.
The guy wasn't even making money off of it outside of sponsorships for better equipment.
I feel like this video if 2-3 years late. Not long ago they released the .Net code, you can upgrade to Windows 10 for free, they ditched Kinect on Xbox and lowered the price, they are working on Xbox backwards compatibility... all good stuff recently.
Microsoft in general is a shit company that no one should take seriously.
Their hardware is unbelievable terrible. See:

That sums up a lot of laptop keyboards and even some low profile desktop keyboards, I don't see what the problem is. Get a different keyboard?

I'd rather get a Surface tablet than an iPad because I can actually run useful shit like the Adobe programs. Drawing stuff on it is a lot better too. Also the app issues are probably the app devs fault.
Every company has made shit products in the past. Big woop?
