I was really skeptical about this controller for a while but this has swayed me.

looks like the numerous changes to design paid off? final product looks pretty neat, but I still have my reservations about those trackpad things.

The ad looks really family friendly until it shows Wolfenstein TNO and your shooting and stabbing nazis in the throat

It's neat as fuck. So you can make it function like a normal gamepad, or a trackpad and analog, or 2 trackpads? If so, i say it's superior to ps3 and xbox controllers.

Now we can all game from the bed and get blowies without having to stuff anyone under the desk. God bless valve.

4 shoulders and 2 side ones? I never thought I'd see more buttons on a controller and still make it functional. Pretty cool looking. Might grab one in a future where I have money tho.

I highly doubt it works as well as they're advertising. The entire gameplay segments were more snappy in reaction than you'd expect from PC controls. I'm going to wait till this comes out, I've got my PS3 controller working on my comp so I really don't need this but it'll be interesting.

Lol, he makes it look so easy. I do like the fact that you can just download layouts. That is a game changer with this controller.

Having a gamepad would be pretty neat for certain games, but I'll wait for sure until reviews are out, which apparently is gonna be mid-end October. Pretty far away for me to get hyped or anything, but I guess the final Steam Controller design was still missing an official announcement.

is it silly that i just don't want to give valve my money anymore? i think i would have readily bought this in the past, but i just don't like where the company is going and what they're focusing on anymore, so i don't think i'd want to support them by purchasing this it's a great controller, though, that's for sure maybe that makes me a curmudgeon, but i think customer loyalty means something, and every time i see more stuff come out of valve, it makes me wish someone from there was working on hl2ep3 even if it was just one developer i know they're different teams, but idk that probably sounds stupid to a lot of fpers but i dont know what other action you take when you don't really like an organization anymore

AA batteries. Ugh, i hope I can use the USB cable to charge the controller if I put in rechargeable AA batts in.

Definitely gonna get one. Kind of sick of using a PS3 controller emulating an Xbox Controller.
