Daamn! This is the best trailer I've seen in ages, got me hyped as fuck.
I'm really looking forward to this. Nice thumbnail, too.
They were actually sneaky enough to include a link for a new poster in one of the shots [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/rOkFJXu.jpg[/thumb]
I'll definitely be seeing this at IMAX! :)
Shit, I hope Shepard can catch that rogue Spectre.
So what, is he rogue Section 31? And I could've sworn I saw a Bird-of-Prey in one of the earlier trailers, so it looks like the Klingons are in this one.
What is this? NCC1701z? How many more ?
Benedict looks really different in this, compared to Sherlock. He actually looks evil. Can't wait.
Alternate universe, which means I can happily ignore Mr Abram's bastardizing Star Trek.
I'm sorry sorry that Star Trek finally has good actors and good special effects. What a travesty to the franchise. I mean there's no plastic lizard men costumes and cardboard walls! What the hell J.J Abrams!?
That trailer felt very generic

Also the movies generally had pretty good special effects as far as I know.

I've never watched any Star Trek except for the last movie (which I liked) and this looks pretty interesting too. I don't care if it's not like the old one.
The Enterprise is now an Apple store and looks like a Chavved up Ford Fiesta. What an improvement!
Better than a ship where you need a member of crew to turn an imaginary wheel on a wall.
Alternate universe, which means I can happily ignore Mr Abram's bastardizing Star Trek.
Also means I can ignore all the Next Generation movies. Do people forget how shitty those movies are?
Also means I can ignore all the Next Generation movies. Do people forget how shitty those movies are?
A bunch of the old series movies are also not very good
Yes but at least it had some good ones. Though to be fair it has been a very very long time since I've seen any Star Trek movie except the 2009 one.
I bet this will have a sequence in which the villain allows himself to be captured, and escapes
I bet this will have a sequence in which the villain allows himself to be captured, and escapes
Or where he gets captured but it's too late and his plan is already happening!
It's incredibly hard to make an action movie out of a TV series about exploration and please both Star Trek fans and people who've never seen it before. It's even harder to have new actors play well established and loved characters from that series. I think someone's gonna end up pissed off.
