I occasionally get asked about my avatar, this is what it's from. If you've seen any Dinosaur specials from the 80's or 90's you've probably seen parts of this before.
Made in 1984 by Phil Tippett, same guy who did the original Star Wars stop motion, Vermithrax Pejorative from Dragonslayer and the robots in both Robocop movies. He was also responsible for the animation in Jurassic Park and Starship Troopers just to name a few.
