He's not really trying to do the weird shit he does in the classic AVGN videos.

Him not being angry is far better when he just put as much swearing in the script for the hell of it, it could get really forced. His swearing was fine when it wasn't forced but I prefer his not angryness over when it's forced.

That was quite good, he couldn't really keep up his character because he seemed genuinely happy to be there.

Hmm AVGN whilst not pre-scripted isn't very good.

It sets him apart from the other comedy critics around, he might rage till several million blood vessels pop, but he'll also calm down and talk about the good stuff.

Hes not really funny in real life.

I think a large part of why he isn't really funny is because he has to hold back, he can't go nuts and rage and shout and do fancy windows movie maker quality effects or stunts on the E3 showfloor. He can only throw in so many fucks before he becomes a nuisance.

He definitely doesn't feel the same as in his usual AVGN videos, but he still gives his honest and direct opinion, which is much better than most of the other reviewers.
