I like how the dog FUCKING JUMPS INTO A HELICOPTER AND KILLS THE PILOT(and I presume he gets away with it).
They try to make it look like a new mechanic, but you can see that it's just another "click e" contextual progresser.
That dog is awesome
That dog is awesome
The real dog yeah, but in the game it's just going to be another call of duty gimmick where you press a button to make a scripted sequence play out before the actual game continues. Woah, maybe, MAYBE you can actually STEER THE DOG! Like 5 second of something that in a very abstract sense resembles actual gameplay and not a pause/play button you have to press every now and then to make things happen you have no actual control over whatsoever

A true emotional investment would be to have the dog in several games THEN kill him. Or just let him live and retire somewhere.
Manly men doing manly stuff apparently doesn't quite cut it anymore.

I dunno if Infinity Ward could even pull that off, but if they did I'd be impressed regardless of how I usually feel about them.
I find it funny how they were talking about how the internet blew up when people saw there was going to be a dog in COD. Hell I don't remember seeing anything other than making fun of COD ghost.

[editline]19th October 2013[/editline] The nuke scene in MW1 was done well, and the [sp]ISS scene was kind of shocking, if you don't know how EMPs work.[/sp] MW3 was just a pile of disappointment.
I can't help but laugh at how fucking ridiculous it is seeing the stupid dog hijacking a helicopter, or bursting through doors. I doubt it will even be that great gameplay wise either.

I don't think he realizes that most of them were mocking the idea, though.
That's one rad dog
IF THE DOG DIES WE RIOT
I find it funny how they were talking about how the internet blew up when people saw there was going to be a dog in COD. Hell I don't remember seeing anything other than making fun of COD ghost.
Well there was the thing with the revolutionary fish AI.
"the internet blew up over the dog" yeah, because of how fucking retarded the idea was.
Or: "How I learned to love the mocap dog"

This is all that comes to mind
I'm pretty sure the internet was IRONICALLY "blowing up over the dog :)" Like, it's astronomically dumb as fuck. Literally nothing is dumber than this. Unless... CALL OF DUTY : PHANTOMS FEATURING RALEIGH THE CAT TACTICAL PUSSY
Hell I don't remember seeing anything other than making fun of COD ghost.
This is par for the course with COD. A lot of people like it ergo a lot of people hate it.
Holy shit dogs can jump high as fuck
instead of a dog there should've been a woman companion wow sexist developers
It's like the people who make CoD thought Hey, this is getting a bit stale, let's actually add something new. And they are overly excited and happy about that achievement. That they added something different for once. That's what this whole dog thing makes me think of
I don't care if the rest of the game is terrible, Ghosts will be GOTY to me if you can press Square to pet the dog.
I don't like how literally the only "News" on ghosts that's "Interesting" is the dog when the mechanics that are 'new" are actually ones that have been done long before cod even existed.
instead of a dog there should've been a woman companion wow sexist developers
Dude, they chose to put a dog in for a reason because the engine cannot handle women!!
I don't care if the rest of the game is terrible, Ghosts will be GOTY to me if you can press Square to pet the dog.
You couldn't even pet chop in GTA V. If this game does it them it will definitely win GOTY. [editline]19th October 2013[/editline] *then, not them. Editing post is bugged, sorry
fuck you guys i love dogges
How can you show dog emotions? 'Course it looks like the player is the handler so that wouldn't be quite so much of an impact. You'd get a bloody screen effect but with dog slobber instead.
