He used ableton and was originally going to submit this for the nin remix contest, but he missed the entry date. So after this gem collected dust for 2+ years, I'm here to release this to be enjoyed by others, as it was much enjoyed by me.
For the awesome people: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EJF2LJMT
This arouses me. Best one is track 5 in my opinion.

so what did he do? use the original song and put some drums under it or what.
Mashed up both soundtracks and blended, added some tracks and did some other stuff like tempo correction etc. etc.
track 5 is strangely relaxing.
I never understood NIN. Could anyone explain to me why it's so good?
Well, I've always liked them because of their unique style of music.
I like the gritty-ness and the drum style.
Is it possible to get the files? I'd love to have them, and I don't think youtube ripping does them justice.
Holy shit, that is a great remix. I'll be honest, when I read the title of the thread I thought the combination would sound terrible, but the exact opposite happened.

Nine Inch Nails are amazing, the song they did for the 300 trailer was immense.

At 1:07 when he screams "Marion!!", now every time I listen to that track, I expect that :) I can seriously listen to this remix cd non-stop for days lol

Amazing remix.
So fucking amazing!
ITT everyone calling Nine inch nails "they" when it's one guy that does everything and he just hires some people to play with him on tour. Anyways, i've always loved NiN. Really glad I got to see him live before he quit touring. All the tracks were very well done, especially 5
