I'm not the biggest fan of twin stick shooters
But I gotta say, I love the artstyle and animations and even the gameplay itself looks pretty good for the genre.
The art style reminds me of Transistor but darker and more organic. I don't know if that makes sense.
The design gave my attention.
gameplay reminds me of the alien/zombie shooter franchise, which last i played was pretty kick ass.
I haven't really played many twin-stick shooters beyond the Halo titles, but I had a blast with those, so this should be pretty neat.

What "Halo titles"? There's only one Halo game that's a top down shooter and it's not technically even a twin-stick shooter cause it was originally a phone game.
I remember seeing a couple of WIP shots in the WAYWO thread. The design and overall artstyle is very polished and clean, great work on that.

Thanks! The development team is mostly part-time, with only 2-3 of us working full time (as the programmer I only work weekends and sometimes when I get home from work). We're also spread out across 3 or some timezones as well!

spartan assault is definitely a twin-stick shooter
Really slick intro, I liked that
Gameplay looks okay but the aesthetics looks pretty damn amazing.
