Wow, that looks really good... Limbo never really caught my attention, but something about the theme of this really hooks me.
this is cool grim dystopia looking
I remember seeing the E3 2015 trailer for this and I could not for the life of me find anything about this game afterwards, so I'm glad it's getting a bit more attention now. Looks sufficiently eerie.
Gonna miss the hazy and creepily ethereal atmosphere that Limbo had, but this looks like PlayDead stepped it up in every technical department for this game. Thank god it didn't silently die, and it's coming out so soon too! June 26 for Xbone and July 7 for Steam.
What an incredibly oppressive atmosphere this game has!
Something about these kind of dystopian dark settings are just...morbidly engrossing.
I thought they'd go a different route and not have the character die horribly for a change. Then he gets mercilessly gunned down, christ. I was never interested in Limbo but the world alone has me drawn in.
I'd love to make a movie like this

This is one of those games I know I'd love to play, but I'm not sure I even can any more. A few years ago something like this would have been a breeze for me, but I feel like the older I get (not that i feel particularly old or anything) the more games and films ect with oppressive atmospheres effect me. Most obvious example I can think of is Bioshock, at 12 years old I had the time of my fucking life playing that game, I went back to it about a year ago to relive the great memories I had of playing it and just found I was getting way to effected by the content. I either gained a greater understanding of the context of what I was experiencing, or I turned into a wimp. The game looks great btw, fantastic atmosphere, some really stellar animation work which lends a load of character, not hugely keen on the B&W aesthetic, but I wasn't when it came to limbo either soooo...
WHat.... What the hell is going on in the game's world?
I'm in love with this aesthetic.
