only part 1 of the match has been released, but it's 37 min long.

okay now i'm psyched
scratch the 37 min long, it's more like 30 min long. the last 7 mins is the mock gameplay from e3.
holy shit i love the destruction elements.
Really loving how "make your own way" looks. Overall looks very promising.
Why are both teams (the players) in the same room? Can't they hear each other super easily?
Anyone know if there is gonna be a co-op mode with players vs ai?
Hope we get proper law enforcement weapons and ammo kinda like SWAT.
A little customization wouldn't do the game harm as well (Vegas 2 style but less Hollywood)
the guns still sound like books being dropped on the floor
it looks cool, but i have little faith it won't be awfully ported, like all the recent tom clancy games.
Looks really decent, I like that the house is more than 3 rooms on the way to a set-piece. It's the whole level, wonder what other types of buildings we'll be storming.
Those wooden barricade shields seem so useless. They're just blown up in 2 shots.

Banks or large multi story office buildings would be rad as fuck.
Bring it on I'd say.

I replied to a post like this before:
As a shield or blockage of passage yes, pretty useless, but:
- Blocks sniper view.
- Hides what crooks are doing during the planning phase at the start.
- Probably reduces damage if shot through.
- Cops breaking through them during a breach would make them reveal their position.
- Can allow crooks to run past doorways and windows without being seen.
- Can block pathways for suppressed players without much time to shoot down a barricade, making choke -points.
hope they work some more on the weapon sounds and gunplay because it doesn't look very satisfying at the moment
Im really excited for this game , looks awsome.

Rainbow aren't a SWAT team, they're an international anti-terrorist group. It makes perfect sense for them to have assault rifles and machine guns.
Obviously it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to use those weapons in a raid on a house, but they'd still have them.
It made me cringe that they were sat there using controllers with a mouse and keyboard right in front of them...
Wow this looks so much better than the original E3 footage.
How to make a decent game look like complete shit by Ubisoft.
I am actually now again tempted into buying this.
Also use your fucking keyboard and mouse for a fucking shooter assholes.
I can just see as soon as the round starts, guys on the terrorist team are going to run for those upper windows to shoot right into the police spawn. It's just not going to play at all like they're showing it when everyone gets their hands on the game. It's going to be a run and gun explosive spam fest
I hope they put some sort of Co-op mode into the game with larger maps. They named their teams Raven Shield and Rogue Spear in the video, hopefully they're big enough fans to throw in Terrorist Hunt or something
I hope you enjoyed the destruction.
It isn't going to be in the final game.

Yeah, they're totally going to just remove the main mechanic of the game.
please don't fuck this like you fucked watch dogs ubisoft.
because this looks fucking awesome.

I wouldn't put it past ubisoft.
I wouldn't put it past ubisoft.
That would mean they'd just throw away a whole bunch of money they spend making this game. There's a 0% chance that destruction is going to removed.

they literally did that with watchdogs dood. They had next gen graphics set up for watch dogs and then threw them away because our 720p nextgen consoles couldn't handle it.
They were playing this game on PC's in the video so I'm not staying optimistic until I see gameplay on a nextgen console.

But graphics aren't the same as destruction. Graphics is just a thing you can flip on or off at any point and it doesn't make a very big impact on anything. Taking out destruction would mean they'd pretty much have to redesign the entire game and all gameplay mechanics.
The destruction is cool, but in gameplay it seems like it would be really annoying and probably OP. You can't expect CT's from anywhere since they can just blow through any wall/window, and if it's anything like counter-strike they'd often be blast/flash breaching against a single T trying to cover a hallway. Expecially when the CT's get a free scout of the hostage location and what the T's are doing prior to the game starting...
I guess I just play too much counter-strike though. It could be fun, but it just seems unbalanced.
Why is it Raven Shield vs Rogue Spear, what happened to the terrorist looking dudes?

Or we could look at BF3 where they had destruction all primed and ready to go and then dumbed it down to oblivion
