This movie was really neat. I still like watching it from time to time.
And the soundtrack is truly one of the best, so spot on.
Still one of my favorite movies. Pretty meh acting and plot, but the visuals, music and sound design are pure art.
Like the video described, I really think this film is underrated. My only real issue stems from Garret Hedlund not being too interesting as a protagonist and is mainly there for his few action set pieces. I would have also have loved to see a full movie regarding Kevin Flynn, the Grid, and Clu's coup if it meant exploring what made the Isos special. Otherwise, Jeff Bridges was great as both Clu and Flynn (as well as the dueling philosophy, thereof), the new Grid and special effects are fantastic even by today's high standards, of course Daft Punk's soundtrack is amazing, and I'm extremely disappointed Tron 3 was cancelled.
Basically, Tron Legacy, like its predecessor is a fun, imaginative movie.
Man, I wanna rewatch this now. It's something I'd love to see in 4K, it's a gorgeous film. Regardless of your thoughts on the movie itself, you can't deny that its visuals and soundtrack are beautifully done.
Makes me sad that Tron 3 was cancelled.
I remember being absolutely blown away by the visuals in this movie when I saw it in IMAX 3D. I wouldn't say it's one of my favourite movies but it's certainly impressive.
I think Legacy was the first movie I got on Blu-Ray just so I made sure I could see it in all its visual splendor.
No Virus though, if the sequel doesn't have it, I'll be sad, so much potential for a visual feast.
CinemaWins is such a fantastic contrast to CinemaSins
Solar Sailer is one of my favorite tracks of all time, and it really fit in with this whole movie's feel and design. The plot wasn't amazing, but it was just so fun and visually enjoyable that I hardly cared when I first watched it.
Plus, Derezzed and the club scene are still a bit of a rush
Movie was okay, but it really lagged in the middle. I never got what that whole subplot with Zeus was about. If anything, I think the soundtrack on its own tells a better story than the movie as a whole - I've listened to it over a dozen times since I bought it, and it somehow gets better every single time.
Would rather have another Tron than endless Star Wars spinoffs, though. And I liked Rogue One.
