For a YouTuber who made his grandmother watch an anime about a grown man seducing a young boy, Mumkey can be incredibly insightful.

He also watched A Serbian Film with his dad, and they reviewed it in his Mumkey and Manimals's Movie Missions Podcast

its a sad sad thing really. mumkey does speak a lot of truth
One thing he didn't really cover was whether stricter gun control would have stopped Elliot Rodger, no way in Australia could you even think of getting a gun if you've been seeing therapists your entire life.

Can we not turn this into a gun control debate?
Can we not turn this into a gun control debate?
i'm just saying he touched on a bit then left it alone. i didn't even mean gun control, just tighter regulations for who can get a gun in the first place.
He specifically pointed out that half the killings were without guns and thus it wouldn't have stopped him.
Infact if the officers that came to check on him had been competent, his owning of the guns would've caused him to be caught.
*snip*
I'm gonna be honest, mumkey has a rather disturbing obsession with elliot rodger, it's been like 2 years and he's still making videos about him.

Yeah, his thesis that "we can't stop this" doesn't work with that example.
I've never seen this person's videos before, but this one rubbed me the wrong way. It was either the nihilistic acceptance of this sort of thing, or the general tone of voice that irritated me. Oh well, it was an interesting watch.
I'd agree with carcarcargo though, this seems like some kind of fetishization. Probably harmless, we all have our things, but still odd.
No it does because that variable was out of our hands. 9 or so cops were lazy. His point was there were so many opportunities that just fell through the cracks/didn't work that no new regulations would help

I think that's debatable, any person with a history of serious mental problems(Having seen therapists since 9) that tries to buy a gun should have an indepth investigation done about them, or even considered a threat to the public. Though I suppose that's hard when America has so many people trying to buy firearms, in a place like Australia it's a lot easier.

It's mostly because the audiobook took so long to complete
