Skillets makes good music, just uses silly samples sometimes. Scary Monsters and Nice sprites, arguably his biggest track, is the biggest example of it. The actual rhythm and composition of it is good, but the whole "Call 911 now" part and general rattling of the bass-kicks are just a little ridiculous to me. I like some of his other stuff though. You can disagree with the way his sound is, and you can say it's silly, but he does have talent.

How do you draw a parallell between food and music like that? There's a big difference between something that may be appealing to someones ears and something that is obviously just burnt food. It's not like he just rolls his face across the keys and calls it music.
