justifying an argument with facts is just a trick for weasel fuckboys real enlightened discussion pros know that the more you scream and laugh and insult people the more right you are
i always thought this dude was playing a character but considering his falling out with maddox and this it seems like he's just fucking crazy?
how is this dude able to formulate thoughts [editline]14th September 2017[/editline] his entire method of arguing is just screaming the same shit over and over again what the fuck
I love how these kinds of people will say crazy shit and laugh at people for getting upset, but the moment you disagree with them and don't freak out, they start having temper tantrums
So this is what youtube will monetize now. yeah.
i always thought this dude was playing a character but considering his falling out with maddox and this it seems like he's just fucking crazy?
I think everyone did
i always thought this dude was playing a character but considering his falling out with maddox and this it seems like he's just fucking crazy?
I guess he's either that or a really dedicated Jace Connors-type character
I guess he's either that or a really dedicated Jace Connors-type character
Holy shit I completely forgot about that fucking guy.
Who's Jace Connors?
I'm amazed that Destiny has gotten way more calm and restrained over the course of his political discussion streaming, given his more notable guests have gotten way more aggressive over time.
i get debating people but why does destiny keep debating people who are so stupid it's verging on a genuine disability? it seems pointless
i get debating people but why does destiny keep debating people who are so stupid it's verging on a genuine disability? it seems pointless
he needs to fuel his ego
he needs to fuel his ego
of the 3 destiny vids ive seen (all posted here) thats what both parties seem to be trying to do
he just talks with whoever's willing to come on his stream he asks everyone, it isn't like he just selects for the stupidest people possible and while talking with some nobody might be pointless, people like internet aristocrat, dick masterson, laura southern, and sargon of akkad all have pretty large audiences [editline]15th September 2017[/editline] like this happens a lot with any sort of open platform where you'll have one person taking callers it just tends to be the case that the loudest, most opinionated, most willing to engage people tend to be the dumbest and the least self aware
Smart people know they have zero to gain by going on Destiny's stream.
Who's Jace Connors?
A fake identity created by a guy named Jan Rankowski. For years he had the internet thinking Jace was a real person and that he and his friends were doing crazy shit like flying to Israel to search for Tupac. People were calling him the next Chris-Chan and then it all turned out to be an elaborate ruse.
i get debating people but why does destiny keep debating people who are so stupid it's verging on a genuine disability? it seems pointless
he'll basically talk to anyone who hits him up on twitter, it's really dumb he's had great discussions with people but for every one of those there's like 3 race realists straight from pol he talks to for 3 hours
full disclosure ive never seen a video of his before watching all of this one, and dont know who he is or anything else about him, but maybe he just wants to reach out to people and earnestly encourage them to be critical?
and while talking with some nobody might be pointless, people like internet aristocrat, dick masterson, laura southern, and sargon of akkad all have pretty large audiences
This really amazes me tbh, the guy on this other video spent most of the time calling Destiny dumb and spewing senseless shit, so you'd think his audience would be pretty limited but he has over 200k YouTube subscribers, all these alt-right/skeptic/anti-SJW YouTubers can barely form a cohesive argument on a livestream but still their audience is so massive, really makes you think.

It's important to challenge their opinions publicly.

Except for Dick. I'm pretty sure at least half of his audience thinks he's a character.
full disclosure ive never seen a video of his before watching all of this one, and dont know who he is or anything else about him, but maybe he just wants to reach out to people and earnestly encourage them to be critical?
Really depends, usually if someone is cordial he'll be cordial back on stream. But he can really make an ass out of himself on twitter sometimes. I do like how he doesn't really seem to do this to pander/preach though, which is what annoys me about most political youtubers. He makes most of his money with his normal streams, and when he's doing research before talks he does generally do a good job of consulting credible sources along with avoiding cherry-picking evidence. Which are the two probably most heinous "sins" political YouTubers often fall into.
I used to listen to Maddox's old podcast regularly (biggest problem in the universe), and I always thought Dick was a huge asshole
I've only seen this video and the other one that was posted here recently. People like this are the most frustrating to debate, they are so dense that they refuse to apply basic logic. Destiny doesn't even seem like that great of a debater but at least he can form a coherent argument.
I don't really see why people dislike Destiny. He's a bit smug but he does seem to listen to the people he debates with and attempts to get them into some sort of real conversation. This guy who came on couldn't back anything he was saying and resorted to insults throughout the whole thing.

This guy who came on couldn't back anything he was saying and resorted to insults throughout the whole thing.
He is very unwilling to admit when he's wrong. He will say he is out of his dept or any other excuse, except saying that he was truly wrong about something. He gets extremely emotional when it comes to competitive videogames and will go off or ban someone, just because he needs a release of his frustrations. My biggest issue with him is that in the past he agreed that he was wrong for eating meat, but he constructed this whole bullshit philosophy about social contracts and how animals can't reciprocate, so killing animals is okay. Then later on he stands to get flustered when people start bringing up pets, so he starts saying that some species have been bred to be companions and are smarter so that makes it okay. It's obvious that he has done barely any reading into animal sentience, animal rights and the ethics of using animal products. Let alone the environmental and health problems omnivorous diets bring. I think he is fun to listen to, but he will rarely admit a wrong.
My biggest issue with him is that in the past he agreed that he was wrong for eating meat, but he constructed this whole bullshit philosophy about social contracts and how animals can't reciprocate
Wasn't that just a devil's advocate argument like what he does with incest? I generally like Destiny but it bothers me that he doesn't hold himself to the same standard that he seems to hold most other people to.

If you can back up your claims with facts he's said he would change his views on things. When he has discussions with people that are more educated in specifics fields he does come off as trying to listen to what they know rather than just arguing against them.

If you're so fucking disconnected from reality you call black people "uncle toms" for not being offended by something and so abrasively volatile you tell your own kid to kill himself as a spontaneous response then you need to step away from the computer a while and rethink your life.
