Reminds me of the guy with the aircraft carrier elevator
I can see this technology being available to everyone in the city in the future. When space is limited.
that's p rad
I doubt he has 1400 cars.
Hang on, I think I know where that is. It's in Singapore isn't it?

It's not like the guy owns the entire building, either; in a city where space is limited, this allows for relatively easier parking(Assuming you don't need to use the car at the same time someone else wants to) while minimizing space. Underground parking lots are still probably infinitely more efficient, but rich people do what rich people want.

Forget the supercars; having your cars safely in your house is pretty damn neat.
A literal traffic jam in your living room when leaving in the morning? Seems like something that could break and cause so much headache.
14 is likely the floor, 2 could be the room number and 1 would be the car
Maybe, his car is registered as number 1421 in the entire building Who'd have thought
I would like to have a shitty Honda and live here.
It seems like there would be some problems if multiple people needed their car. [editline]3rd September 2012[/editline] Besides that its a neat idea.
Lo and behold gentlemen the future is upon us.
Hang on, I think I know where that is. It's in Singapore isn't it?
If the buildings lights start shifting through the rainbow colors, it's probably in modern Asia
14 is likely the floor, 2 could be the room number and 1 would be the car
except the elevator doesn't move sideways so room number wouldn't matter
*Loose power to the elevator* *Takes the bus*
Well If I had a Ferrari, Lamborghini and an apartment like that, then I'd wanna display them together and show how much more of a successful and all round better person I am than my house guests too.
Hey um I want to be rich
Well If I had a Ferrari, Lamborghini and an apartment like that, then I'd wanna display them together and show how much more of a successful and all round better person I am than my house guests too.
Sure you could show your lambo to the entire hotel as it's going up to your penthouse. but what happens if it breaks, they'll see it in all it's glory again as it falls.
meanwhile in africa
I wonder if he can access his car while it's parked behind the glass in his living room, I would hope so. Then again, actually having to check fluids or do maintenance on my own car is such a poor person thing anyway.

Looks like the future of car parks.

Well atleast it'll open up opportunities to commit suicide in interesting ways.

One other thing is to have a bridge for your car to enter your house. One OTHER thing is to have a bridge for a room in your house exclusively for you car. If I had a room exclusively for a car, I'd want to have one of those round platforms that slowly spin like the ones in NFSU2
Eh, Rich people spending money in Singapore, nothing unusual
Mitt Romney has a car elevator.
