Looks cool. But I'm still bitter at Uber for fucking up Super Monday Night Combat.
This looks goddamn amazing
It almost looks like a not-terrible Supreme Commander, yay. I'm glad I backed it.
This is really turning out to be the true successor that Total Annihilation deserves. Can't wait till it's done.
God its everything I wanted Supreme Commander 2 to be (which isn't bad per se, but never felt like a proper sequel imo)

Supreme Commander and Forged Alliance (Not 2) are fucking fantastic

They were pretty awful performance wise. At least for my friends and me who wanted to play them together at teenager LAN-parties.

And that makes them bad games? They're very good RTSes, even if they are a bit unoptimized.

I'm not sure about you, but for me optimization plays a big role in whether a game is good or not. Of course they're good games now, since everybody can run them. Apart from Supreme Commander 2 which should never ever be named.
SupCom 2 wasn't exactly a bad game... it was just a bad supcom game. It was a poor attempt at simplifying the series to attract more people, and it ended up pushing most of them away.
Forget Supcom and PA, it's all about Turtle Annihilation
But still €54.99 for something that raised $2,229,344
Wow thats a bit too much!

That $2,229,344 they raised is nothing compared to what other games require to be made.
Supreme Commander needed $10 million to make, Modern Warfare 2 used $50 million, and GTA IV was created with $100 million.

GTA was $265 million.
Jesus games are getting expensive.

It should be US$40 at release, so if you don't like the price you can just wait.
