You know I can't help but feel like things like this contribute to the negative stigma of motorcycles being dangerous. A lot of people die on them because a lot of people that ride them are jackasses. The percentage of US riders that ride without a helmet alone is ridiculous.
That was fucking jawdropping.
i find it sad that my dad and his brothers used to ride like this when they were my age

A lot of people also die on them because cars think they're the fucking kings of the road and that because we're on smaller vehicles, we are somehow required to yield to them 100% of the time. Trust me, it's more common for car drivers to fuck us over than the other way around. As a cyclist, I've cheated death too many times because of cars illegally making turns or what have you. As to not wearing a helmet, if people don't want to wear a helmet they deserve to have their face ripped off and brains smeared across the road as they slide down the highway at 60 mph. It's the same for people that die from not wearing a seat belt in a car, they deserve it if they don't want to follow basic common sense safety procedures. I have no respect or sympathy for people that won't fork out the $100 for at least a cheap helmet and then get injured or die as a result.
damnnnn
