MMO conventions like EvE's Fanfest make sense since you have a core group of players all sharing the same world and a lot of the same experiences, and you socialize and play with an even smaller core group you can meet up with. That and the older demographic
But a con for an open world sandbox game seems a bit silly, even if the franchise keeps broadening (oh god minecraft is a franchise)
I know Minecraft has a huge younger audience, but It seriously looks like a daycare center.

I won't deny the adults were cringey (the fact that there are even adults who go to a Minecraft convention for reasons other than chaperoning their kids is cringey), but for the most part the little kids were cute, they were just so excited to be called up on the mic. I was cringing more from how bad the video was edited than them.

What everyone seems to forget is that we were kids too at one point, some still are. If little kids having fun and being, in general, just kids is something that is cringy or annoying to you, I suggest some sort of therapy. :v:

I was a kid, I was cringy as fuck. Kids today are cringy as fuck. Kids are cringy. There's nothing wrong with seeing them like that. For the most parts, yes, kids being kids is very cringy.

that's such a dumb statement though, of course kids are going to be annoying shits to adults, once you turn into an adult you see how stupid kids stuff really is
