If you put it next to the Batman films, it doesn't look particularly good
Plus, Batman Begins and the Dark Knight have too much of an emphasis on realism, whereas this one looks too far fetched. They don't really seem like they could exist in the same DC universe... Whereas the Marvel films manage to make it seem like Iron Man, the Hulk, Captain America and Spiderman could all come from the same universe.

Its in its own universe, nothing to do with the recent batman films.
Sinestro and Oa look cool but a majority of that looks terrible, blake lively's acting is terrible i can tell that just from seeing tid bits of her in the trailer, as a huge fan of the comics ( have them all ) im still a bit meh at this, the suit looks alright on some such as sinestro but i hate the lines! oh god why the lines!
Not bad. I still think they could have gotten someone better then Ryan Reynolds though.
he really doesn't fit that Hal Jordan persona, in the comic's Hal has a serious type of joking around not a sarcastic one like reynold's is known for. my big fear for this is when something like a comic book franchise gets into pop culture i can ruin its originality if they aren't careful.
Been a huge green lantern fan all my life and the fact that i see girl's going "OMG this movie will be awesome, i don't care about the story i just like Ryan Reynolds!" this sort of shit pisses me off beyond belief.
Quality
That was pretty cool
"In 3D in selected theaters"?
Looks great, but I still think Reynolds should just go and play Deadpool. I'm no fan of Green Lantern in that I mean I only really know the black one from Justice League.
Im not a huge deadpool fan and i wish he had just gone and played deadpool.

Looks like crap.

Well, Batman doesn't have superpowers so it's easy to have something realistic.
thats the thing see, its nothing new that a franchises fan's get crapped on for the sake of more money, but i just wish for once they had gone for more roots from the comic as in looks as well as story, i see this being as a green lantern comic fan i hate it but i see new people to the franchise liking it, problem being bringing new people to a franchise also brings all different kinds of people including those who should'nt be such as probably a majority of the youtube community for example.
This actually looks pretty cool, I might have to read a couple of Green Lantern comics before watching this.
the mask looks bad and the costume looks a bit too generic. but i suppose if your a big fan of the original DC stuff its worth the watch. but hey thats just me.
i actually like the green latern from the Cartoon, the black one
if however the costume was edited a bit it could pass
Oh god i hate movies like these.
I personally find that Green Lantern is one of those superheroes best portrayed in animation. But I'm really optimistic that Martin Campbell can pull this one off. I think that's just my fanboyism for Ryan talking.
If Reynolds doesn't do the Deadpool movie because of this film then I will be majorly pissed off.
