the ending was a copout, but i can get why they didn't go for the novel's ending because it is a little bit dark and grim.
if you want a better adaptation and into manga (you dont have to be) you can read all you need is kill. Even better since the soldiers wield massive fucking battle axes (the main characters anyway) and wear look alike halo spartan armor.

its really fucking good and makes much more sense since the main character is a rookie and not some major who saw no combat (wat).

Which likely was automated, and not deliberate, but don't expect Angry Joe to know that.
He's going to cut out the images and such and reupload. Thing is, I would normally say he should dispute it because obviously he's good to go, but YT sides with the claimant in that case and it won't be monetized in his favour until they review it. So, it's best for him to take it down, and reupload so anyone looking to watch it won't give the cash to WB, when it's not on their turf.
