I have no idea what this is, but I'm incredibly curious.
I'm digging the simplistic/low-polyesque visuals
This looks amazing, but when they recorded these videos they left the cursor on the screen. This is bothering the hell out of me.
It's not often I think something actually deserves the artistic ratings that it gets on FP but this actually earned it.
This is fucking awesome. 250k? holy shit, I just hope that they will make it!
My Wind Waker love is being channeled into this game.
I hope this sees the light of day, I love the actual sense of adventure the trailer conveys.

The art design is amazing. I also love that they've used one of my favourite tracks: Vivaldi - Summer.
Such a great, underrated musical piece.
You're calling one of Vivaldi's four seasons underrated? The fuck.
Backed the fuck out of this. I looked into the Company and it is South Korean based. But there is not other kind of information which kinda worries me tbh. But I'm optimistic at this point and it just really dig the atmosphere. Reminds of a lot of Journey!
It says co-op, which is interesting. But then there's no clarification on what they mean by that. This would be amazing for a group of friends to go on an adventure!
Adventuring and exploring is something thats been missing from games for a while so it's a damn welcome change. Just hope they can actually deliver especially on the coop side.
I'm a sucker for badass butlers.
Not buying that this is gameplay footage at least not in the way that the players will get it. Everything's way too perfect for a pre-alpha, no clipping whatsoever, every animation exactly on point. Looks good though.
This might be the first thing I ever back on kickstarter

And if this was their first trailer they released I'd imagine they'd record footage where the animations are smooth looking.

this looks wonderful and that makes the fact that they left the cursor on the screen all the more infuriating.
I know this is an old-ish thread, but the game has made it's kickstarter goal within the final few days and is now slated for PS4, Xbox, and Wii U, and has been greenlit as well on Steam. Here are some more videos the devs have released. This game looks gorgeous and has a really nice simple art style I love.
The phantom mouse pointer strikes again.
Holy shit, I remember seeing this a while back, and thinking it would never make the kickstart goal. I'm glad I was wrong!
It's taken the games industry a very long time to realize that you dont need a huge budget or a fancy engine to have your game be beautiful.
This looks fucking beautiful.
It's taken the games industry a very long time to realize that you dont need a huge budget or a fancy engine to have your game be beautiful.
Unity is a very, very fancy engine. It's just that the industry is now treating engines as a utility rather than an in-house developed piece of software for a very specific purpose.
Unity is a very, very fancy engine. Also this game does look pretty nice indeed. The devs seem to be based in South Korea, and their previous experiences involved animations and television commercials before transitioning into games development with this particular project.
I'm wondering if their goal is another of those "we expect to get four times our original goal and that's why we set it so low" or if they're getting funding from some other party along with the KS. That really doesn't seem like enough money for a game that big. Kotaku or Polygon did an article on those ways indies "game" kickstarter, interesting stuff
Unity is a very, very fancy engine. IIRC most of the big names still use their own custom-made engines, which do one thing and do it well (DICE's frostbite is fantastic for shooters of BF's scale, for example)
