Found a strange bug, see for yourself. I've never heard of this before.
I used Jinto's mod.
I'm not sure how to media tag, i'm used to the ol' [dohtml] tags.
Anyone know whats up?
It went back to the future at a speed of 77553 rather than 88MPH
it went through the side of the map...?
The [vid] wasn't really necessary
Anyways, things like that happen to me occasionally, mostly when I'm messing with hoverballs.
That's awesome.
Let's try mounting a pod next time and we'll see the answer.
It would of gone out the map. Source engine has limits for a reason, the collision can't check at speeds like that.
What the fuck did you do to your crowbar?
Replaced it with dystopia model

The prop was that fast, that it moved faster than source-engine can calculate collision physics. Therefore it moved straight through the "end-prop" because during that time no physical calculation had been made. It is even possible, that the prop now is "outside" of the level (same reason: It moved outside the level before the physics engine could detect a collision with the wall).
That's btw one of the reasons, why there is a speedlimit in source.
Lol.
Thanks for the replies. That seems to make a lot of sense. Strange thing is that it ceases to exist, cameras dont activate and the speedometer doesn't give a reading anymore.
I tried the idea of welding a chair but i realized you have to hit the thruster with the physics beam (even though it's not frozen) to make it go, or rather even, disappear. I couldn't get into the chair fast enough to actually see anything.
Thanks for the help again, was an interesting experience.
Attach a pod and follow it to this other dimension.
Add a GPS to it and wire it up so you get X, Y and Z then you know where it is and to get to it just type in console SetPos (X Y Z) and that should be it.
surly when the block hits the wall it spasm out and end up in some corner.
Hl2 physic is not like the real life ones..
