I have got to say, as a Finish citizen, I have been very satisfied with our police force.
Never have I ever heard of them doing anything rash and irresponsible, and all of the times where I've needed their help they've done their job superbly.
It's good to have such a proper police force when you live in quite a violent country.
I live in such a small town that I rarely ever see the police, every now and then, I see a police-van driving around in the city centre but that's about it.
Can't remember the last time I saw an actual cop on foot.

I love how they are very polite and calm, even with the drunk dude they just escorted him to sit down in the car and assuring him it's the alcohol that's making him feel down and the dude was sensible enough to agree.

There seems to be a level of tolerance and understanding that people make mistakes, and that doesn't necessarily correlate with jail time.
