Now that's marketing.
Tanksi
tanks for sharing the video
EA has way too much fucking money
why are they celebrating that they've made another generic "realistic" fps for shooter season 2011
you fuckers know i'm right
Even bitch knows it's better to travel to work in tank instead of train.

I believe this is actually quite cost-effective way to advertise. It'll spread by itself, no need to put it on tv. Or at least it would spread for sure if they made a more interesting video.
Tanksi. :v:
Do the British even feature in BF3? Gotta get some Abrams and loud yankee doodles about London, see how that goes.

It was an M113 and a Scorpion tank.
Probably cost $100,000 with fuel.

Unless they rented it that's waaay too much for an advert.

How the hell do you rent a tank.

That was an FV432 and an Abbot SPG. Plenty of places in the UK do "driving experiences" for the day with these. Renting them is definitely not that expensive nor is it hard to actually get a hold of them.
Apparently you can get them on the cheap, well relatively, Ross Noble has an Abbot SPG.
I remember Ross mentioning that on Top Gear and the story of driving down country lanes. But yeah, they are surprisingly cheap. 432s you can get for anywhere between £5-10k and the Abbot's are around the £15-30k price range.
i want choppers and jets

I hate __ because people like __.
What are the videos that use the battle field ending music as suspense?

You win.
EA's taking occupylondon too literally.

That's actually quite cheap for an advert.
Especially when you compare it to how much it costs to run advertisements on the American Superbowl.
I'd just like to interject that driving in a tracked vehicle on paved roads is not one of the "better ways to travel to work", unless you really like shaking up those squishy little organs of yours, not to mention the noise.
You probably can rent a tank, some paintball places in the UK use APCs and stuff to transport you down into the woods were you fight
Now Valve must one-up them by releasing a headcrab invasion.
I think it's good they did this. Much better than boring banner ads on websites or things of that sort. This is actually cool.
