It's oddly interesting how it appeals to fears, desires and emotions that we all share, then ends with 'The world at your feet'.

It tries to appeal to things people genuinely crave or feel that they need more of and then use it as leverage to sell them pointless shit they don't need which they subconsciously associate with those things.
