The Burning Man experience.
ooh that kind of tripping
exactly
poor guy, probably has brain damage or something by now
it's so interesting how what he was doing probably made sense to him. i wish i could understand why his brain chose a pattern of "exactly exactly exactly do do do do" psychotic loops are fun
Oh man I know exactly the feeling this guy's going through
I wonder what the hell was going on his head. That's some bizarre shit.
I wonder what the hell was going on his head. That's some bizarre shit.
I'm betting he thought he was in a band.
So uhh how long might something like that last?
poor guy, probably has brain damage or something by now
nope
nope
There's people who have gone completely brain dead from these kind of drugs. You could also be trapped in a never ending trip.
There's people who have gone completely brain dead from these kind of drugs. You could also be trapped in a never ending trip.
Yeah, shit sucks. I hope he's ok now. People don't do drugs hoping they will trip out like this.
I want to see what he's seeing
As an aside, the cops seemed pretty chill all things considered.
There's people who have gone completely brain dead from these kind of drugs. You could also be trapped in a never ending trip.
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but LSD does not cause brain damage, let alone cause someone to go brain dead.
There's people who have gone completely brain dead from these kind of drugs. You could also be trapped in a never ending trip.
this doesnt happen [editline]21st November 2012[/editline] ever
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but LSD does not cause brain damage, let alone cause someone to go brain dead.
Extended LSD use can trigger schizophrenia. It's happened to people I've known.
Extended LSD use can trigger schizophrenia. It's happened to people I've known.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD_and_schizophrenia this is a fairly unsubstantiated claim
There's people who have gone completely brain dead from these kind of drugs. You could also be trapped in a never ending trip.
you have no idea what you're talking about absolutely zero do not speak about things of which you have no knowledge of
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD_and_schizophrenia this is a fairly unsubstantiated claim
Perhaps not quite schizophrenia, but it's completely possible that someone could develop psychosis from it.
cool cops
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD_and_schizophrenia this is a fairly unsubstantiated claim
Most drugs, even weed can activate mental disorders that may have been dormant. They don't cause, just trigger. Also things like HPPD can stick around for a while, if not permanently after taking hallucinogenics. Or it may develop over long term.

Here (was) a fun site dedicated to people who have a certain mental disorder. You'll find that maybe 70% of the members are there due to a bad drug encounter. There's also a lot of people with HPPD, OCD, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety issues and combinations that post too.
a couple stories on the internet aren't scientific studies showing a causal link between lsd(or any other drug) and any for of mental disorder
a couple stories on the internet aren't scientific studies showing a causal link between lsd(or any other drug) and any for of mental disorder
Triggers, son. TRIGGERS. You have to have a predisposition to the mental disorder in order for drugs to do anything bad. And there's probably over a thousand stories on that site alone. You really gotta take off the binders and understand that these things are happening. I have experience with this.
I'm more interested in the song he's singing.
then why the fuck isnt this a well documented phenomenon in psychology?
then why the fuck isnt this a well documented phenomenon in psychology?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Substance-induced_psychosis I could dig up a bunch of different articles and research papers attributing drugs to the onset of various mental problems.
