Fair warning, can be difficult to watch due to the noise and movement. He ends up okay in the end.
Imagine a world where you can see someone dieing from a heart attack and you cant even do anything but watch
This is surreal. Thankfully he seemed to be ok in the end.
I don't mean to sound like a dick but I can't take this seriously with Ugandan knuckles and morty just running around wondering what to do [editline]19th January 2018[/editline] Also that title holy shit
I'm glad that everyone in the chatroom took the situation seriously and handled it appropriately. It's unfortunate that there was nothing they could do to help the guy out though.
Jesus christ morty is just standing there letting this happen.
god, that gasping :(
Most people handled it very appropriately, but I'm still pissed off a couple of knuckles memers making clicking noising and spitting when he's right there on the ground.
I'm glad most of the people in that room were taking it seriously and were trying to help him. Fuck that Ugandan Knuckles who just felt like he had to meme while it was happening, and that one girl who said he was dying/dead though.

This game really could use a big fat seizure warning when you launch it (maybe it does?). With this video possibly going viral, there might even be an influx of trolls deliberately trying to cause more of them.
I got his permission to upload and monetize this. [ PLEASE NOTE ] This video was posted with the explicit, documented permission by the individual who had this seizure. Furthermore this individual was not harmed or injured before, during, or after this video and is perfectly fine at the time of this upload. This video is being shared for the purposes of spreading awareness of epilepsy which must be considered with the emergence of virtual reality on both the industry and individual users scale. This is also being shared for the purpose of analyzing and documenting the nature of this occurrence and the reactions of bystanders in Virtual Reality which is an unprecedented situation. [ CONSIDER THIS ] If you think this video should not be monetized for ethical reasons, despite the fact explicit permission to do so was secured from the subject, I want you to take a minute and think of all the news channels in the past 50 years that have made trillions of dollars by running adds between reports of some of humanity's most dire moments and vile deeds all with accompanying footage of violence, hatred, sensationalism, and- and I'm just a guy with a Youtube channel. Upload your own videos, you can choose not to monetize those if you want.
"I want to spread awareness of epilepsy but 20$ is 20$. Furthermore I'll come up with such video title so as much as possible people will click on it"
Some of them were unaware than they stopped...however that epileptic wendy was a dick and should've changed their model immediately after it happened.
Person that had that model on flailing around over and in front of the guy should be permabanned tbh that is malicious as fuck
"I want to spread awareness of epilepsy but 20$ is 20$. Furthermore I'll come up with such video title so as much as possible people will click on it"
aside from the caps the title just says exactly what it is
Person that had that model on flailing around over and in front of the guy should be permabanned tbh that is malicious as fuck
I think that was also the person who was saying the guy was dead/dying. Basically, fuck that person.
Flappy Arms McRaveCunt and Ugandan Kunckles were no fucking help at all. Also the dude in the video sounds like the host of This is Not Happening, Ari Shaffer.
"I want to spread awareness of epilepsy but 20$ is 20$. Furthermore I'll come up with such video title so as much as possible people will click on it"
I probably wouldn't have monetized it, but he does have a point. If the guy having a seize is okay with it, who are we to be offended for him?
Monetizing it is a dick move. Could at least donate the money to him
Reminds me of a a video I saw awhile ago where someone had a seizure in Rec Room. Unlike the majority of the people in this video, absolutely no one took the situation seriously and crowded around the kid, carrying on and making noises. One dude was at least trying to help, covering the seizure victim's eyes in an attempt to block out light coming in from the headset. I have no idea if that helps, but it's a neat thing to keep in mind at least.

It can easily lead to injuries to the person or you
You’re generally not supposed to touch those having a seizure outside of turning them on their side. As in they were clipping their hand models into the model of the kid having the seizure to make it that the light from the headset was just black, instead of vibrant rec room colours.
Man that's scary. Glad he's okay though.

Yeah that makes sense, granted idk how much information is taken in when someone is seizing.
What a terrifying situation to be in :frown:
"I want to spread awareness of epilepsy but 20$ is 20$. Furthermore I'll come up with such video title so as much as possible people will click on it"
The guy who had the seizure was completely fine with it. What is the problem?
Monetizing it is a dick move. Could at least donate the money to him
Monetizing it may be in poor taste but I'm not sure what benefit donating the money to the guy would bring. The awareness of how this condition afflicts people even in goofy virtual reality video games is of far greater value than any money the video will generate, I imagine. Again, I probably personally wouldn't monetize such a video out of respect, but he has the permission to do so, so why not, I guess?
It's weird, while you're in a seizure, you can't exactly do anything but you can really hear everyone freaking the fuck out. A friend of mine has epilepsy and I saw him get two, and both times after a few minutes of coming back he kept joking how he could hear all of us freaking out over his seizure. I didn't watch all 13 minutes so idk if he referenced something along the lines of that.
I think most people who have seizures don't actually remember having them. Pretty interesting if certain people can still tell what's going on around them though.
Imagine a world where you can see someone dieing from a heart attack and you cant even do anything but watch
Pretty much reality as it was without phones or hell, when medical care wasn't like it was in general, even with a doctor a heart attack would just kill you
