Paradox explanation if you didn't get it:
[sp] The guy in the time machine and the building guy is the same person, he was travelling back in time to himself in an infinitive loop. Where the past him didn't know what can happen in the future because he didn't saw it yet. Only him from the future did it.[/sp]
I suck at explaining, if some could make a short and more understandable explanation, I would be thankful.
i completely understand
i completely understand
You haven't met the majority of YouTube auditory.
I understand, still :psyduck: though.
So where did the time machine come from in the first place?
Inifinitum loopum.
Put it this way... actually... wait... Where the fuck did he get it from?
AHhH! AH! I get it!
His future self had made the time'scheen went back into the past and died, past self went in time'scheen and killed himself while going back into the past thus continuing the time loop.
Not that hard to get...
Well i guess it WAS for youtube

They didn't call it a paradox for no reason
I edited, look again.
I wanna know how he got the Time Machine in the first place, seeing as he's in a continuous loop.
Well, he could've built it in the future, then go back in the past, 'kill' himself, use the machine again, go back and 'kill' himself and so on. But the loop had a start, and that is the guy building the time machine.

Oh you ZapDing!
I expected something a little more complicated.
I'd like to thank the OP as he's given me a brilliant idea for a map :v
I wanna know how he got the Time Machine in the first place, seeing as he's in a continuous loop.
he got the car from the future, and made the loop end before he got to make the car, the car therefore got stuck with him in the loop.
You got ninja'd about 8 posts ago.
That totally makes sense, very clever my friend.
In laments terms: Speedy thing go in, speedy thing go out.
The funny thing is, no one actually made that car. (if we look at the time concept as "you can't change the past or the future" - If something happened in some time, it will always happen in said time, no matter what.)
That was awesome. Kudos to the OP

But if you look at another standpoint (lol doctor who) "There are points in time, big and small that can be changed for good or bad, and this is one of them"
Another paradox, if the car crashes and crashes over and over again, some time it will break and be nonfunctional. The loop cannot continue over and over again. But this is in Gmod where no none breakable prop can break..

I thought that too, but on the other note - "you can't change the past" - so the time machine will be in the same condition over and over again. But I don't know really, haven't tried it you know :P

Wrong.
It only happened one time.
This movie just changed viewpoints, so it gave you illusion of it being infinite loop. It really isn't infinite loop - it happened only one time.
Oh paradoxes, I love their mindfucking

It only happens once to the guy but the car crashed an infinite amount of times.

From an 3-rd party person's view it happens once, but imagine putting a camera on the car, if this happens only once if you're a 3-rd party observer and you live that time only once, and the car is stuck in that loop forever, creating infinitive number of loops in 0 seconds, what would happen if you get the data from the camera when the car crashes in your time period?
Not ninjad because my internet crashes when I wanted to post this minutes ago.

Umm, I'm pretty sure the movie was going for the sense that it's an infinite loop. I think it's safe to say that it's not ACTUALLY an infinite loop since it's not technically real.
- Start
1. Guy joins
2. Guy builds
3. Guy sees incoming object with dead man inside
4. Guy takes it and goes back in time
5. Guy crashes and dies
- End
This only happened one time. But this is the paradox giving you illusion of infinite amounts.
And now imagine this:
When that guy, instead of dropping dead body away, would leave it as it is and ride with it?
I remember the same thing from an episode of Twilight Zone with astronauts landing on another planet.
Time machine was made by time itself :buddy:
Really wasn't that complicated. I actually wrote a story similar to this for my English class. It was more complex, however.
I actually still have it, if anyone is interested.

Me interested

I got it! It's all because the engine of the car is Darth Vader!
