Funnily enough, My friends and I invented a similar maneuver in Hidden Source as well.
We called it the Bear Maneuver - an attempt to scare the Hidden away by appearing bigger and more fearsome than he was.
.5/10 times it succeeded.
I really love The Hidden, it's great fun.
Too bad there are so few servers, and the latency in them is bad.

After playing Batman: Akrham City He put up a [URL="http://www.biology.gatech.edu/images/faculty/Jung.Choi.jpg"]picture of a biology teacher called "Jung Choi"[/URL] (Apparently a name of a video game character) with 2 other pictures of his face manipulated in a humorous manner, while singing in a fake Asian accent to a song played by one of the other streamers.
Suddenly his fans found the guys twitter, and Criken was worried about how many tweets this guy would get, trying to convince his fans not to tweet at him. Eventually he decided the opportunity was too grand to let up, so he created the hash tag "#jungchoi" which was tweeted immensely during the following hour mainly referring to "Pass the Cheetos" (As Criken and the other streamers were pretending they lived in the same apartment complete with fake hot tub sound effects and even pretending others were playing the game instead of Criken, though he was the only one who played the games)
Crikens fans soon found a video by someone else named "Jung Choi" pretending to be Batman. The video got many, many views and comments and the guys subscriber count reached huge heights. Unfortunately he took down the video now.
It was a strange stream.

God damn it I love criken.
Criken's and Spike/Barley's videos are the only ones I actually enjoy watching. They're both genuinely hilarious to watch when they play games.
