That looked really beautiful. Wonder if it would have been a meteor burning up. Russia covers quite a large land mass and a lot of people have dash cams.
Its the Leonid meteor shower right now, almost undoubtedly a meteor. These ones are called fireballs and they are quite common and just burn up in the atmosphere.
Much smaller than the Chelyabinsk meteorite as well, so probably not much debris left

A transformer blew near my campus last year, I was walking back from the cafeteria late at night when it happened. It was a serious fucking colour show, freaked me out a bit until all the lights around me went out and I figured out what it was.
