It fucking amazes me anyone [del]wants[/del] wanted a Blackberry, literally the only appeal most people I know of mention is the the fact it has an inbuilt messenger. For crying out loud.
"So, what went wrong?" "I'M REALLY EXCITED TO BE IN THIS INDUSTRY" lol what

Lol I know Steph. She went to my academy.
This guy must be retarded? You can't possibly think that was a good marketing tactic.
Why did he even bother with that interview?
Oh now I know what's wrong with Blackberry, they expect their phone to last for 10 years.
I think he's excited
It's almost an art how he manages to not answer a single question.
How hard is it to understand "What went wrong?" as a question? Damn. She had to ask him three times, and he still would completely not answer. I'd be incredibly frustrated if that happened with someone I knew :v:
What went wrong: - Zero advertisement. I didn't even know a new Blackberry was being released. None the less a 10th iteration. - No app development / programs to gain interest in developing apps (For fucks sake, every company is coming to universities and trying to garner support for their latest smartphones/tablets.) - Marketing to an audience of businessmen who would rather use a more versatile smartphone (Android, iOS, Windows mobile). - Not deciding to change that audience to a general populous in 2007.
blackberry refused to adapt to change, now it's too late
this was a scripted marketing pitch, this was not an interview. that sucks no one told the interviewer that she was just going to be facilitating a blackberry commercial.
