I'LL BUY 400
Its a defence mechanism, if an insect lands on it it closes its leaves which confuses the insect, if the insect then tries to have another go then it "droops" its leaves by collapsing its stems scaring off the insect. Thank you David Attenborough !
Meanwhile the plant is thinking "OH GOD DON'T LET ME DIE IT HURTS FUCK IT HURTS!!!" tickle me in the morning...
the children "kill me it hurts to live"
.. "Watch it wiggles, watch it grows " ..
Oh come on. They could have said it differently.
I thought it was a Tim and Eric joke, but apparently it's real...
I want one.

Actually, it's not. It usually grows in the rainforests and closes itself on the first raindrop, so it has less surface for the heavy rain to fuck up.
