This was actually pretty meh

Its quite entertaining but some of the jokes are kinda meh

I can't believe how boring this was. There was no attempt

this was even worse than the first one. the "jokes" were longer and twice as boring and even less funny, the way the awards were handed out had no structure... just fucking terrible

I liked it. Is there some joke I'm missing? It seemed pretty well produced.

Also for the "Nighthood Award" (for the worst part of the 2011 /v/GAs), everyone voted "Reddit Influence", even Reddit.

Much worse than last years. Spec Ops won nothing which is shameful to be honest.

It tries to be a unique experience that is anti-war, failing to realise pretty much every single war video game or film is also anti-war. The whole 'WAR IS HELL' thing isn't new or interesting. Also it flaunts morale issues and decision making - all of which is contrived and consisters of 'do a terrible thing' or 'do a terrible thing' and then it says YOU'RE A BAD PERSON It's boring, generic, and nothing special And the gameplay sucks

some people argue it's not fun and has poor gameplay on purpose but those people might want to talk to the devs about that lol

I found it a little boring, and then Chris Chan came on. Top of my boat, this is just a year in a /v/ in review. Pretty good

It's taking the piss throughout but it gets really obvious at the end. [editline]8th March 2013[/editline] Also an anti-war war game is an exceptionally rare thing, same with films. Just because COD 4 gave you a little quote about how rich Lockheed is getting or something each time you died it's not an anti war game it's really fucking war porn.

And say what you will about the choices, but the part where [sp]Lugo was lynched[/sp] hit me way harder than any of the normal video game bullshit choices like "save the cat/burn the cat"

The one thing they did wrong IMO was have people send in skits.

Duke was a great host, a good host can defintely sway the mood and quality of a video. The current host seemed new to the concept, and it was kind of drab.

Just a forewarning, the last award category (Aerith Dies Award) contains heavy spoilers, especially for Walking Dead's ending, which sucks since I haven't even played a single game in the series yet. All in all, it did keep me entertained for most part. Still, it was average at times and some of the skits dragged on way too long.
