The initial fights weren't very impressive to me, but the fight with the knight with the cape and the rooftop battle looked pretty amazing. What I enjoyed most though was the style, environments, and atmosphere in this vid, the world just looks great, and way more colorful than with Demons's Souls.
THIS LOOKS EXACTLY AS I HOPED IT WOULD! So glad I've already pre-ordered this
What's the fucking hype about? I never played the first one, but this just looks like another of the 5000 generic hack and slash games that already exist.

Looks to be good. I'm sceptical, but I loved the first game, and this doesn't seem to be straying too far from it.
You have no idea just how wrong you are.
You're right, I don't. Explain the difference between this and, say, Onimusha, Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, God of War, or Dante's Inferno.
YOU HOLLOWED

[editline]8th June 2011[/editline] That's like saying that it is the same because you kill monsters.

You can not compare those games with it.

Unlike anything I have ever played. It is hard to describe but it is the first time I feel that the game is in charge and not the player.
I did really enjoy the first one, even though I cannot agree that the game itself was "hard" as you describe it. I did love the simple, yet fun playstyle and a lot of pleasure came from whondering what kind of boss would lie beyond next corner. However, I became a bit disappointed that the game didn't last for that long, so I aimed for all the achievements but grew tired soon enough. Since I needed some god damn minerals from the glowing lizards, which never appeared to drop and since there were a limited amounts of them, I had to replay the game over and over again which also increased the difficulty every time. At the end, every singe mob did one shot me. Never got my platinum..... I blame the lizards.

That's a funny joke because you know in demon souls you have to think out strategies, if you hacked and slashed you'd die for sure.
It pleases me to see enemies using potions.
The best is when I first ran into the tower knight. Yeah, try to hack and slash a 40m tall fucking suit of armor.
