that fucking tank spiderman thumbnail jesus tone it down with the cookies peter
Which Marvel reboot was it where Stark gave the Iron Man suit to Fred from Scooby Doo?
Somehow I knew it would still look god awful, even after they 'fixed' some of the models.
I wish they didn't give into non fighting game players' demands for a story mode
who the fuck needs a story mode for a capcom fighting game

my fucking god
I mean, if you can get it for like $30, fine, but this is a 'big' release for Capcom for fuck's sake, looks like a mobile game

That looks mocapped and it's like they tried to run in a small space, damn
Injustice 2 uses Unreal Engine 3 while MvC:I is UE4, and yet, the former looks a fuckton better.
MvC:I just screams rushed design while also suffering a bit from focusing too much on advertising the MCU.
No X-Men, no FF, dont focus on Spider-Man too much, make Rocket as unbearable as possible, shove Gamora in there, ignore anything that isnt on the movie schedule, make sure Iron Man is 100% RDJ smart-ass mode at all times, gotta hit those MCU bucks.
Japanese fighting games like Street Fighter, Dead or Alive, and Tekken all need to have a story mode since MK9 set that bar for what a popular fighting game series should have. The only campaign I found to be mediocre at best was SFV, and DoA5 and Tekken 7 just sucked.
Problem is that Netherrealm Studios most likely has way more budget in their games than Japanese studios.
I mean, Blazblue was a clusterfuck of tropes, fanservice and weird shit, and they obviously didn't have exuberant budget given that most of the format was a loose visual novel style, but it had a pretty good story as a series. Even Guilty Gear Xrd did its story mode efficiently, even if they had a hell of a lot of effort put in for its animation style. It's funny because both games came from a developer that certainly didn't have budget starting out and were infamous for downright nonsensical and haphazard "stories" vaguely pieced together through win quotes. A fighting game story doesn't need budget and super high quality stuff, it just needs to have more care than bland exposition linking otherwise standard fights together like practically being an expanded arcade mode.
And Tekken 7 took the choice of putting the entire game in a framework around a perpetually bored narrator, so that didn't help. The moments not clutched by him were the highlights, especially the final battle.

That model looks like it was ripped from The Sims.
The VA for Iron Man actually does a decent job of sounding like Robert Downey Jr

DoA has had a story mode since at least DoA3. It's always just been an excuse for them to show off the girls or some dumb action scene.
why does everybody look so chunky.
Because they can't model shit at Capcom anymore. SFV's quality is a fucking mess, and that was 'moderate effort Capcom'
So I watched the whole thing and if I understood it right[sp]the Mad Titan Thanos got cucked hard by Lady Death and Jedah and as an act of revenge, he stole the Satsui no Hado from Ryu (Let's ignore the events which happened in Street Fighter V in how he dealt with the Hado) and he now plans on using it against her.[/sp]
The fuck?
kind of sad this is where the real frank west is, but Im glad he's there

Was scrolling through the comments here before diving into the vid proper; are you telling me that they actually[sp]made Thanos having a spite filled one-sided relationship with Death a major plot point? WITHOUT Deadpool, THE character that Death snubbed Thanos for?[/sp]
Can't let Fox get that paycheck no matter what, eh Marvel? Even if it degrades what you have left into an incomprehensible mess.
I don't think Marvel and Capcom characters mesh well (Hell, DC and MK don't either). That, and the fact that they are all super best friends just makes the whole thing seem really silly to me. I mean, Dante, Chris Redfield, and the dude from Bionic Commando are bearable; but Megaman or that miniature knight, not so much.
I would have loved to see a Marvel oriented fighting game akin to Injustice.
wow the new tails gets trolled spinoff fic is looking great
When people buy a crossover fighting game, I don't think they buy it to spend the first 10-20 minutes of the game fighting generic, dispensable minion types of enemies.
lmao the fact that this game did Frank West better than DR4 did.
For a game called Marvel vs. Capcom, there's not a lot of Marvel versus Capcom in the intended sense.
It could honestly go the way of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe plot.
Have Thanos use his reality gem to suck together all of the Capcom characters from their respective worlds into merge it with the Marvel universe. Suddenly starting the game off with Marvel and Capcom already teaming up just seems like we're seeing the second season to a TV show.
Yeah that'd be slightly better. As it is now,it comes off like a ten-year-old's fan fiction.

he even beat thanos which i believe tbh
[editline]18th September 2017[/editline]
thanos got his ass kicked by an overweight middle aged pervert with a camera and a bad attitude

I was thinking it looked like a character someone made in Fuse.

Not that difficult to be honest.
This dialog is like a bad fanfiction
I just want to watch for TJ Frank tbh. Everything else just feels...off
