I think that even though what you're shown is pretty much a lie, there's still value in seeing such a thing. It also helps that there's a bunch of shit that's straight up Korean history. I'm not delusional, North Korea is a fucking shithole. A lot of places i've been before have especially violent, and often ongoing problems with their governments. It's never bothered me before. You're probably touching something right now that was made by a country that has been harvesting organs on a regular basis since the 90's. Most people really shouldn't go to North Korea because they won't fucking like it.

To be honest we all laugh and crack jokes at NK for shooting missiles, but after seeing this video it gave me a different perspective. That is actually fucking scary, specially with how close. Imagine being woken to missile attack alerts all the time.

The country is nothing but a stage. it's full of starving children but what you see is an illusion of a happy go lucky, wonderful society. The place is just smoke and mirrors for a brutal dictatorship. I think there is value in watching a documentary, but in the grand scheme of it all, I think it'd be way better to just visit a good country where you don't risk years of imprisonment and torture. Like I get how its a unique experience but it really is better to just... go anywhere else.
