Drones allow police to be proactive instead of reactive.
The news video is really sensationalist seeing as only a few departments are using "drones."
It isn't like they're flying the skys locked on to regular citizens.
I really dont understand the big deal. They accomplish the same thing helicopters that are already in use do and I believe warrants are required to spy on specific areas or people.
It's probably not the same drones used by the military.
Probably smaller and vastly inferior ones.

What they are doing is not a violation of the constitution. They fly in public air and you have limited expectation of privacy in public.
