Wouldn't most of that water be boiling because of the heat generated from the atomic explosion?
Wouldn't most of that water be boiling because of the heat generated from the atomic explosion?
Wat. No.
Wouldn't most of that water be boiling because of the heat generated from the atomic explosion?
There's actually very little heat in an explosion. It's mostly the pressure that does the damage.
pressure
Free boat wash.
I want to see a camara on that boat.
I want to see a camara on that boat.
I want to be on that boat.

You could just imagine the crew... "Hey, what was that noise?" Steps outside...
Would not water not be radioactive?
Would not water not be radioactive?
I think so. Bikini Atoll is still not entirely safe because of all these tests.
When the water is falling back down it kinda looks like an avalanche.
Any heat would instantly be distributed.
Wowie, what happened to the ship
I get a bigger explosion when I fart in the bathtub :colbert:
There's actually very little heat in an explosion. It's mostly the pressure that does the damage.
PV = nRT
Would not water not be radioactive?
The not-water would be not-radioactive because the not-not water actually shields from radiation pretty not badly. In other words no.
PV = nRT
By very little I meant less than people typically think when they see huge fiery explosions in movies.

This may be one of the coolest things I have ever seen.
I hate the obviously dubbed over sound. I'd prefer silence to something that's not even accurate. The video quality was amazing, though.
I think so. If you did this in the open ocean with a depth of a good 10,000 feet then I bet you'll be perfectly fine.
