Oh boy, I want this. Now.
I'm glad this isn't dead. Good luck!

Looks pretty cool.

HL2CTF is from 2005 you think we haven't got permission by now?
gee I hope you guys got permission to use those textures and models that clearly are not yours
What textures and models are you referring to? The smg model was built by like 25 people and we got permission from the ones we could get a hold of. The weapon/item textures are like 5 years old and I recall the creators of those textures saying they could be used as long as they were given credit....and they will be given credit. It's amazing that you're complaining about 10 textures that are 5 years old lol. Especially when 99.9% of all the other textures and models were built by 1 guy who is the original creator of the mod. Every model in the mod was created by Valve or the HL2CTF Dev Team (other then the smg), so Im not sure what you are talking about when it comes to the models. As I said, there are a few weapon/item skins that were not done by the hl2ctf team.
Is that an entire team of Gordon Freemans
awesome
Didn't know that sniper rifle bolts were also scopes in the future.
Damn, I haven't played this mod in 5 years. Looks like it has changed quite a bit.
The maps are a little bland-looking in places, lighting-wise. Too much use of almost (if not completely) pure white light.
Gameplay-wise, looks great.
Reminds me of the TFC days
dat combine voice....:quagmire:
seriously though, this looks like it could be tons of fun.
100% valid. Most are from the (now) free SDK and all others are either public domain or we received specific permission and/or have credited them in the docs as specified. The remaining are built from scratch by me as we've always had a very small team of developers over the years.

Good old classic deathmatch.Congrats to the team.Looking forward for the release
Reminds me of the TFC days
yeah its very quakelike as well. The pace is very fast and furious.

Any particular feature you're proud of and eager to show to the public?
Those combine voices sound badass.
Any particular feature you're proud of and eager to show to the public?
the huge ammount of gamemodes:
- CTF
- CTF 1flag
- CTF 3 flag
- CTF football
- Domination
- Arena
- Matchmode
- Excessive
- Capture point
- Attack vs Defence CTF
- Territory
- Deathmatch
- Instagib
Hah, main question I have, is how on earth did you get that combine voice effect?
Sounds the closest to Valve's actual effects than any other third-party stuff I've seen.

Do want!

Should make it so when you are carrying the flag you can only use one handed guns.
